WARRENDALE, Pa. The SAE 2012 World Congress promises to offer relevant technical information and innovative content when it convenes April 24-26 at Cobo Center in Detroit.
The theme for the 2012 SAE World Congress, "Get Connected," represents the new and diverse connections that will drive significant advancements in the auto industry of tomorrow, the society says. Not only does the theme symbolize literal connections, such as those between vehicles, infrastructure, the Internet and the nation’s electrical grid, but it also serves to demonstrate the most fundamental of connections; the connections and relationships between engineers who are developing the next generation vehicle technology.
"There is no better place than the SAE World Congress for those in the automotive community to gather and expand their knowledge and training," Patti Kreh, manager, engineering meetings, SAE International, said. "This year’s event offers something for everyone in the automotive engineering industry."
