Position Description:
Aid in the implementation of Strategic Marketing Communications Plans for all Aftermarket Group products to both the independent distributor and the OES channels of distribution in the Automotive, Commercial Vehicle and Off-Highway markets. The plans would include advertising, public relations, tradeshows, brochures and flyers, promotions and promotional support, website marketing support.
Reports to Global Marketing Manager, Aftermarket.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement trade shows strategy (mainly for the OES channel, but will also include other shows globally)
• Development and implementation of communications and literature strategies (mainly. but not limited to the OES channel)
• Integrate digital and non-digital marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 Years of marketing/tradeshow experience
• Driveshaft and axle product knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must be effective in a team environment and be able to work independently.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required
• Proficient in Lotus Notes, internet usage and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project) plus other computer applications.
• Strong dedication and commitment to quality customer service and satisfaction while following through on assigned projects.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability and desire to travel to customers and other Dana locations (overnight domestic and possible international travel).
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work with people in pressure situations.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing, Design, Advertising is preferred
• Proven Management ability with 3rd party agencies and partners.
• Tradeshow, event management experience
• Auto parts, Aftermarket knowledge is not mandatory but is a plus
• "Blogger," active Social Media experience (Twitter/Facebook profiles)
• Written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Spanish and other languages proficiency is desired
