Chicago Pneumatic Appoints Todd Francis New Vice President, North America

Francis will focus on new business development and strategic distributor relationship engagement in this new role.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Chicago Pneumatic has announced the appointment of Todd Francis as its new vice president, North America for stationary compressors. Francis will be based out of Chicago Pneumatic’s Rock Hill, S.C., office, and will be responsible for new business development and further building Chicago Pneumatic’s distributor network across the North American compressor markets.

Chicago Pneumatic is among the industry leaders in portable and stationary compressor technology, focusing on power tools, construction and mining tools and compressors and generators, and is part of the global Atlas Copco Group. Chicago Pneumatic features a number of manufacturing locations across the United States.

Francis joins the Chicago Pneumatic executive team after more than two decades in the commercial construction and heavy equipment sales and rental field, including more than seven years as part of the Atlas Copco group of companies. Francis previously served as national account manager for Chicago Pneumatic Construction, where he was responsible for managing and expanding national accounts, cross-selling CP products while developing new business opportunities. Prior to that, Francis served in senior sales management positions with Allied Construction/Sandvik Tamrock and The Caterpillar Rental Store.

“On behalf of the entire Chicago Pneumatic team, I am very excited to welcome Todd to his new role as vice president, North America,” said Ellen Steck, president, Chicago Pneumatic. “Todd’s extensive background with Chicago Pneumatic Construction and the Atlas Copco Group, combined with his experience leading business development efforts across a variety of construction and heavy equipment business units, position him for immediate success as our new vice president, North America.”
