UCI International/FRAM Group Announce New Business Unit Presidents

UCI and FRAM were both acquired by the private investment firm Rank Group in 2011.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – UCI International and FRAM Group have announced the appointment of two business unit presidents. Bob Larson was named president of Filtration, encompassing UCI’s Champion Laboratories unit as well as the FRAM filter business. In addition, Don Nelson was named president of FRAM Group’s Autolite sparkplug businesses.
 
Larson has been with Reynolds Group since 2008, most recently as vice president and general manager – food packaging. Prior to Reynolds, Larson spent 30 years with Alcoa in various capacities, running businesses both domestically and internationally.
 
Nelson comes to Autolite from Rexnord LLC, where he served most recently as vice president/general manager in the Aerospace Group. He started his career as a structural engineer at Boeing in St. Louis, and then spent 17 years at Alcoa in commercial and operations roles.
