Dynabrade Names Ned Librock President

Librock had been serving as director of marketing for the Clarence, N.Y.-based industrial power tool manufacturer for the past five years. Founder Walter Welsch steps down as president and remains CEO and chairman of the board of directors.

CLARENCE, N.Y. — Dynabrade Inc. announced that Ned Librock, 58, has been appointed president of the Clarence, N.Y.-based industrial power tool manufacturer, effective immediately. Librock had been serving as director of marketing for the past five years. Founder Walter Welsch steps down as president and remains CEO and chairman of the board of directors.
 
"We are fortunate to have someone of Ned’s caliber and experience step up to lead Dynabrade," said Welsch. "Ned is an outstanding and experienced individual who I know will make the next phase of the company’s future a successful one. I know he will implement our strategy and take advantage of the market opportunities ahead. He has a proven track record of execution and is a strong communicator who is customer-focused with deep leadership capabilities. Furthermore, as marketing director for the past five years, Ned has a solid understanding of our products and markets."
 
Librock said, "I’m honored that the board has trusted me with this leadership responsibility. Librock is a graduate of Buffalo State College and the University at Buffalo and a native of western New York. He serves on the boards of directors of two manufacturing-based companies and has been involved in many local non-profit organizations.
