AASA Marketing Executives Council Announces 2012 Leadership

The AASA Marketing Executive Council spearheads the AASA Know Your Parts industry education and awareness campaign, which launched its new slogan, "It's What's Inside That Counts" during AAPEX 2011.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The Marketing Executives Council, a peer group of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), recently announced its new officers for 2012.
 
The AASA Marketing Executives Council officers are:
 
* Chairman: Rob Christy, director of marketing, Dayco Products LLC
* First Vice Chairman: Mark Sprague, corporate marketing manager, NGK Spark Plugs (USA) Inc.
* Second Vice Chairman: Don McEntee, vice president, marketing, SKF
* Secretary: Bill Dennie, director, channel management, Tenneco Inc.
* Immediate Past Chairman: Scott Howat, director, corporate communications, Affinia Group Inc.
 
The AASA Marketing Executive Council spearheads the AASA Know Your Parts industry education and awareness campaign, which launched its new slogan, “It’s What’s Inside That Counts” during AAPEX 2011. More than 70 AASA automotive aftermarket manufacturer members participated in the Know Your Parts exhibit at AAPEX. The exhibit included parts cut-aways and displays, informational brochures and flyers about the importance of quality parts backed by full service manufacturers and product demonstrations.
