FTE Automotive Aftermarket Unveils New Packaging, Part of Global Expansion Program

Featuring energetic product drawings, FTE's new packaging was designed to reflect the new dynamic image of FTE Automotive Aftermarket -- fast to market, high technology products, engineered to OE specifications according to German quality standards, the company says.

EBERN, Germany – As part of its current global expansion program, FTE Automotive Aftermarket is launching its new image campaign, including a complete new packing program. FTE Automotive is a manufacturer of hydraulic brake and clutch systems based in Ebern, Germany.

Featuring energetic product drawings, FTE’s new packaging was designed to reflect the new dynamic image of FTE Automotive Aftermarket – fast to market, high technology products, engineered to OE specifications according to German quality standards, the company says. In addition to the new packaging design, FTE’s new marketing campaign also includes a complete re-design of its catalogs, brochures, displays and advertisements.

According to FTE, this new image is intended to reflect the fact that FTE Automotive is the single-biggest supplier worldwide of clutch actuation systems, delivering the hydraulic technology for clutch and brake systems to most car manufacturers worldwide.

The range coverage of original hydraulic components for FTE Automotive includes 9,500 parts for more than 18,000 models for European, American and Asian cars, from Alfa Romeo to VW and from classic cars like 1952 VW Beetle to the latest Aston Martin Vantage.

This also includes the complete program for trucks and special vehicles with coverage of 3,000 brake and clutch components including the latest technology CP1. The electro-hydraulic actuator CP1 unit is likewise perfectly suited for all hydraulic automation tasks in the area of clutch actuation systems, automated gear mechanisms and regulated differential locks. It is already used in serial production as clutch-by-wire aggregates in trucks.

FTE has 10 international production sites and 3,400 employees worldwide. In 2010, the company achieved a turnover of approximately 390 million euro (roughly $553 million USD).
