Merchandising Manager – Veyance Technologies

Veyance Technologies, Inc. (formerly Goodyear Engineered Products) is a $2B global business that markets, manufactures and distributes a variety of rubber products including hose, conveyor belts, power transmission belts and other products to a variety of customers across the industrial, military, OE and automotive aftermarket channels, is seeking a Merchandising Manager.

Major Job Responsibilities

Principle Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Develop business partnership with existing customers, e.g. warehouse distributors, auto parts stores, installers, and fleets to grow market share. Grow existing account base sales for all product lines (Belts, Hose, Hydraulic, & Air Springs).

2. Provide required service to warehouse distributors, part stores, installers, and fleets within assigned area, managing time and establishing priorities to ensure timely service.

3. Use business and information technology tools (e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, Salesforce.com, etc.) to improve overall management of sales territory.

4. Train customers’ sales force on new products, catalogs, order system, warranties, etc.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Required
• Associate’s Degree or higher level of education
• Minimum of one year of merchandising / service work experience a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Time management and planning skills are a must
• Team Player
• Proven ability to Lead Customers
• Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• High integrity
• Proven excellence in Customer Service

Preferred-

• Bachelors Degree – Preferably in Business or Technical Trade
• Knowledge of the Automotive and/or Heavy Duty Truck aftermarket a plus
