AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — TI Automotive a global supplier of fluid storage, carrying and delivery technology has named Peter Venter as managing director, global aftermarket. He will be based at TI Automotive global headquarters in Auburn Hills, Mich.
"The aftermarket sector is a key strategic business target for TI Automotive," said Bill Kozyra, chairman and CEO of TI Automotive. "Peter brings extensive international experience in the automotive supply industry and has a proven record of success in the aftermarket."
Venter joins TI Automotive from Acument Global Technologies, where he was vice president and general manager for North America. He has also held management positions with RH Burton Co. in Columbus, Ohio; Mr. Gasket Performance Group in Cleveland, Ohio; Flowserve Corp. in Dallas, Texas; and The Bruedan Corp. in Bolton, Conn. He began his career and spent 20 years with Echlin, which merged with Dana Corporation in 1998.
A veteran of the United States Navy, where he holds the rank of Commander, Venter served two tours as a reserve unit commanding officer. He is a graduate of Williams College in Williamstown, Va., where he studied American civilization, and is a resident of Rochester Hills, Mich.
