I-CAR Trainer to Present ‘Advanced Metals’ at BodyShop Business Conference

The BodyShop Business Conference will be held Sept. 17-18 at the Hilton Hotel & Suites in downtown Indianapolis.

AKRON, Ohio – Carmakers are introducing advanced metals to vehicle structures at an alarming rate for the sake of fuel efficiency and passenger safety. Understanding their properties is key to quality repairs.

A good way to get familiar with these advanced metals is to attend the 2010 BodyShop Business Conference – Succeeding Through Change and sit in on the “Advanced Metals” presentation by I-CAR’s Jeff Poole.

Poole has been part of the collision repair industry since 1989. Prior to 1989, he gained valuable exposure to the industry through his father, now a retired vocational instructor from Silver Spring, Md. Poole joined the I-CAR team in 1995 and is currently working in the role of performance training coordinator, providing training and support to instructors throughout the United States.

The BodyShop Business Conference will be held Sept. 17-18 at the Hilton Hotel & Suites in downtown Indianapolis. The Advanced Metals breakout session will occur at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 and at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18.
