SAF-HOLLAND Refines Aftermarket Business Unit Structure for International Growth

Company appoints Alexander Geis as business unit president; Dan Millar assumes additional international and operational responsibilities as vice president sales and marketing.

BESSENBACH, Germany – SAF-HOLLAND S.A. has appointed Alexander Geis as president of its Aftermarket Business Unit. In addition to his role as president of the Aftermarket Business Unit, Geis will also serve as a deputy member of SAF-HOLLAND’s Management Board. Geis will also continue to serve in his current position as vice president for aftermarket sales and marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Also effective Oct. 1, Dan Millar will take on additional responsibilities as vice president of the Americas, Pacific and Asia Aftermarket Business Unit. He will be responsible for aftermarket sales and marketing in this region and will report to Alexander Geis. Furthermore, he will be responsible for all other aftermarket related activities such as purchasing, scheduling, warehousing and logistics. Millar’s regional responsibilities include North, Central and South America, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Japan and China.

The Aftermarket Business Unit of SAF-HOLLAND supplies products for the aftermarket parts business of vehicle manufacturers, dealer organizations and independent parts and service centers. The Group is rapidly expanding the number of its parts and service centers, which are now established in Europe, America, Asia, Australia and Africa.
