Jacob Cartmill Joins Beck/Arnley as Product Specialist

Cartmill's previous experience includes serving as a zone manager for AutoZone in Bowling Green, Ky., and as a commercial salesperson and driver for Advance Auto Parts in Louisville, Ky.

SMYRNA, Tenn. – Beck/Arnley has hired Jacob Cartmill as a product specialist. In this role, Cartmill will oversee brake hydraulics, including calipers, master cylinders, wheel cylinders and brake hoses. He will be responsible for product management efforts such as the introduction of new products, determining target pricing, creating new product packaging, researching and developing new product applications and technical literature, and will work with data management personnel on maintaining catalog, interchange and pricing databases. Cartmill will report to Tom Fritsche, director of product management.

Cartmill’s previous experience includes serving as a zone manager for AutoZone in Bowling Green, Ky., and as a commercial salesperson and driver for Advance Auto Parts in Louisville, Ky. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where he earned a degree in English and a minor in writing. In his spare time, Cartmill enjoys autocross, working with Mazda rotary engines and engine management systems.

“We’d like to welcome Jacob to our product team,” said Fritsche. “He is perfectly suited for the role of product specialist, given his previous experiences, knowledge of the foreign nameplate parts industry and drive to service our customers’ needs. Jacob will play an important role at Beck/Arnley as we continue to grow.”
