Cooper Kicks Off Consumer Tire Rebate Program

In the program, consumers can get up to a $75 Visa rebate card by mail when they buy a set of four qualifying tires.

FINDLAY, Ohio — Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.’s “Take the Money and Ride” rebate program will return this fall, running Aug. 25 through Oct. 31.

In the program, consumers can get up to a $75 Visa rebate card by mail when they buy a set of four qualifying tires.

“The feedback from both our dealers and consumers on the ‘Take the Money and Ride’ program has been very positive,” said Hal Gardner, vice president of marketing for Cooper’s North American Tire Division. “With that support, we’re excited about giving consumers yet another opportunity to take advantage of big savings on an assortment of select Cooper tires, including the newly launched Cooper GFE.”

Cooper is supporting the rebate program with national TV, which includes sponsorship of the ABC Halftime Show, and local radio advertising, as well as POS materials for its dealers. Consumers can obtain a rebate form from their local Cooper Tire dealer or download one at www.coopertire.com.

The lineup of eligible products for the promotion is: the Lifeliner GLS; the Cooper GFE; the CS4 Touring; the Discoverer CTS; the Discoverer ATR; the Discoverer H/T; the Discoverer STT; the Discoverer S/T; and the Discoverer S/T-C.

Also included in the program are Cooper’s Response Touring tires and the Discoverer LSX, which have limited availability through select retailers. (Tire Review/Akron)
