BETHESDA, Md. The National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) presented the President’s Awards for Cataloging Excellence at their 36th Annual Knowledge Exchange Conference, recently held in Newport Beach, Calif. Recognition was given for excellence in design and production of catalog content in a variety of media.
Top honors for CD-ROM catalog went to Honeywell for the Bendix Brake CD and the top award for Web Cataloging went to Honeywell for Fram.com. CARDONE Industries received the top President’s Award for their printed Automotive Steering Catalog.
In addition, awards are presented by the leading data receivers to the suppliers who consistently outperform and provide the highest quality electronic applications data. The following Platinum Awards for Electronic Data Excellence were presented: Activant to Four Seasons division of Standard Motor Products; AutoZone to ATSCO Remanufacturing; CSK to CARDONE Industries; NAPA Auto Parts to Gates Corporation; and WHI Solutions to Continental Automotive Systems.
