New Center Stamping Names Michael Hajnik Executive Vice President

Hajnik brings more than 30 years of automotive manufacturing experience and leadership to New Center Stamping.

DETROIT – New Center Stamping, a provider of aftermarket parts such as fenders, doors, bumpers and other assemblies for Ford, General Motors and Chrysler, has appointed Michael Hajnik as executive vice president and general manager.

In this new position, Hajnik will oversee sales and operations and is tasked with implementing the company’s newly-developed strategic initiative aimed at growing the company and improving overall profitability.

“We have experienced substantial growth in recent years including record-setting revenue in 2008, and Mike’s new role will support our continued success,” said Greg Smith, founder and president and of New Center Stamping Inc. “His strong manufacturing experience and track record of profitability are exactly what we need to aggressively implement our strategic plan.”

Hajnik brings more than 30 years of automotive manufacturing experience and leadership to New Center Stamping. He has worked for such notable companies as General Motors, Textron Automotive, Collins & Aikman, American Specialty Cars, and Cadence Innovation. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in honors business administration from The University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.
