Specifics Announced for 2009 Raybestos Brake & Safety Center

In addition to promotional materials and access to online information, members also receive free unlimited access to the Raybestos technical service hotline.

MCHENRY, Ill. — Affinia’s Global Brake & Chassis Group announced updates to its Raybestos Brake & Safety (B&S) Center technician loyalty program for 2009.

For $69, installers receive a complete 2009 Raybestos Safety Center membership including a free Safety Center Kit. Every kit includes: five sets of Raybestos safety glasses, five Retro t-shirts, two Raybestos posters, one Bay Banner, one Torque Spec poster, 20 pens and two Tacker signs. Enrollment also guarantees that installers will receive every upcoming 2009 promotion kit (posters, brochures, tally cards, etc.) for no additional cost.

Furthermore, every B&S Center membership includes automatic enrollment into the Raybestos “Gimme a Reward” Box Top Program. The Box Top Program allows technicians installing Raybestos brand products the opportunity to amass points redeemable for gift cards, gas cards, trips, professional clinics and other premiums ranging from portable GPS systems to LED work lights.

Every B&S membership will also include automatic entry into a Raybestos Rookie Race School drawing. Offering classroom and on-track instruction by the Jeff Gordon/Mario Andretti Racing School, this exclusive opportunity offers technicians the chance to run real race cars featuring the same Raybestos pad compound utilized by Joe Gibbs Racing every single race day.

In addition, long-considered by installers as the most essential component to the Raybestos Safety Center Program, every member will receive free unlimited technical service hotline access throughout the year. Regularly priced at $1.75 per minute for non-safety center members, the free tech hotline is considered invaluable by many B&S members.

“Time and time again we’ll be talking with a Safety Center member and they’ll tell us how invaluable the free tech line really is,” said Josh Russell, vice president of marketing for Affinia Global Brake & Chassis Group. “If you consider that every call lasts approximately two minutes, even if these folks only make one call a day, by the end of one month they’ve already earned back their $69 enrollment fee. Now, factor in another 11 months of free hotline access, and everything in the Safety Center Kit and all the free promotional stuff – it really is an unbelievable program.”

In addition, every Brake & Safety Membership also includes members only access at www.raybestos.com, tech bulletins, online training, catalog and new number announcements and product flyers.
