Tenneco’s 2009 Expert Plus Program Features New Rewards and Incentives

Tenneco expects more than 18,000 members across the United States and Canada to participate in the 2009 Expert Plus program.

MONROE, Mich. –Tenneco’s Expert Plus program, which provides installers with tailored marketing packages, exclusive incentives, consumer and trade promotions and up-to-the-minute online training for several Tenneco brands, offers new features and rewards in 2009. Tenneco expects more than 18,000 members across the United States and Canada to participate in the 2009 Expert Plus program.

“We’re focused on an innovative and interactive 2009,” said Sheryl Bomia, North America aftermarket programs manager for Tenneco. “The 2009 Expert Plus program gives installers a powerful business-focused advantage through extensive and proven consumer promotions, exclusive trade incentives and a full menu of training, technical and product support designed to help drive sales and profits.”

Now in its eleventh year, the Expert Plus program features several new interactive and online experiences for 2009, including an “Ask the Monroe Squirrel” question and answer forum, a “Where’s the Monroe Squirrel?” prize game, a quarterly e-Newsletter and customized training rewards for completion of online training programs.

This year’s Expert Plus training rewards sequence provides members with multiple training “modules” at different times during 2009. These training modules will be available for limited periods throughout the year and offer additional rewards points for completion of the entire Monroe or Walker modules.

The 2009 Expert Plus program also will feature the return of the popular Monroe Preferred Customer rebate coupon book. The coupon book enables the installer to provide an extra incentive to consumers who might otherwise decide not to replace suspension components.

If members enroll in Expert Plus before March 15, they will be eligible to participate in the early enrollment grand-prize sweepstakes for an exciting family room entertainment package including a 40-inch high definition television with a universal wall mount for flat screen televisions and a Nintendo Wii game system bundle. Tenneco will also award five second-place packages which will include a 22-inch widescreen high definition television.

Expert Plus members will receive a complete assortment of high-impact, point-of-sale materials that feature the branded logos, the “Save the Squirrel” campaign theme and 50,000-mile/80,000-kilometer shock absorber replacement recommendation collateral. This year’s kit includes a shop thermometer (indoor/outdoor), open/close sign, ride height specification chart, work gloves, counter mat, and the preferred customer rebate coupon book.

Participants also can redeem rewards points at any time through the www.Expert-Plus.com website.

Membership in the 2009 Expert Plus program is $99 per business location and includes access to www.Expert-Plus.com. All members are included in Tenneco brand “Dealer Locator” listings.
