Federated Member KOI Holds Annual Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo

Group says combined car show and trade show was a resounding success.

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Long-time Federated member KOI Auto Parts recently held its annual Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo and Trade Show Jan. 9-11 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati.

The show, which is open to the trade as well as to the general public, was a resounding success according to KOI President Dave Wesselman. “We had a fantastic turnout – not only the general public who wanted to see the great custom cars, but also our customers who wanted to take advantage of the available training opportunities,” said Wesselman. “The emphasis of the training was to help our repair shop and body shop customers educate their customers through product information and repair procedures. We also had training and product information for KOI employees. All in all, everyone had a great weekend.”

The Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo and Trade Show is an annual event focusing on two separate components. The Cavalcade of Customs features a large number of custom vehicles and is open to the general public. The Training Expo and Trade Show targets the aftermarket industry, featuring training classes conducted by various Federated suppliers, including ACDelco, Denso, Raybestos and Standard Motor Products. Product display booths were set up outside the training classes so KOI customers could learn more about supplier product lines. A Federated Car Care center booth was also on-site for current and potential members to find out more about the benefits of being a Federated Car Care Center.

KOI Auto Parts has grown into a significant regional auto parts store chain with more than 60 auto parts stores operating in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky. Headquartered in Cincinnati, KOI‘s business serves more than 10,000 customers located within a 150-mile radius of Cincinnati. KOI has been a Federated Auto Parts member since 1987.
