Neutronics Completes Development of New Refrigerant Identifier

Details of the new HFO-1234yf refrigerant identifier will be released during the Mobile Air Conditioning Society Convention, Feb. 5-7 in Dallas.

EXTON, Pa. — Neutronics Inc. said it has successfully completed development of the world’s first HFO-1234yf refrigerant identifier, which is pending release. Neutronics refrigerant identifiers are used worldwide to verify the type and purity of refrigerant in both MVAC and HVAC applications.

According to Gary Halpern, president of Neutronics, the development of an HFO-1234yf refrigerant identifier demonstrates the company’s support of the EPA’s initiatives to reduce global warming emissions and improve the state of our global environment.
