Advance Auto Parts Names Tom Drapac Vice President, Design and Development

Prior to joining Advance, Drapac most recently served as director of construction for Circuit City Stores.

ROANOKE, Va. – Advance Auto Parts has appointed Tom Drapac as vice president, design and development for the company’s real estate department. Drapac will be responsible for leading key strategic initiatives such as optimizing store development costs and the turnkey delivery of new, relocation and remodel projects.

Prior to joining Advance, Drapac most recently served as director of construction for Circuit City Stores. Prior to Circuit City, he served as regional construction manager for Target Corp. Drapac holds a BS in construction management and engineering and an AAS in Civil Engineering Technology from Purdue University, based in West Lafayette, Ind. He has also attended classes in the master of business administration program at the Keller School of Business, Deerfield, Ill.

Drapac will report to Randy Young, senior vice president, real estate, and will be based in Roanoke, Va.
