Polk Introduces New Vehicle Statistics Reports for the Automotive Aftermarket

Polk New Vehicle Statistics reports now available to the aftermarket.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – R. L. Polk & Co. has announced the launch of its New Vehicle Statistics reports for the automotive aftermarket. The New Vehicle Statistics reports are available on a monthly basis to help provide faster clarity to developing market situations, enabling aftermarket-related companies to make business decisions more efficiently.

Now available to the aftermarket, Polk has provided this information to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to help drive their business planning activities since 1922. According to Polk, users will be able to track all newly-registered vehicles in the United States and identify when new models leave the showroom and hit the road, providing valuable insight into assessing market trends.

“Having access to data more quickly can help our aftermarket customers be first-to market and gain efficiencies in their business, from parts inventory and distribution, to marketing and sales,” said Mark Seng, vice president of Polk’s aftermarket team. “In today’s business environment of ‘information now,’ this offering will help keep our aftermarket customers current with existing market conditions and prepared for the future.”

The New Vehicle Statistics reports are fully customizable and allow users to define the output by vehicle specifications, geography and time-period.
