Delphi Appoints Three New Sales Managers in North America

Delphi Corp. has named three new sales managers for North America. Jim Eady, Darrel Reuss and Steve Tucker will serve as regional sales managers for vehicle electronics in North America for Delphi Product & Service Solutions. Eady will cover the Southeast, Reuss the Midwest and Tucker the Northeast and all will report to Scott Donnelly, North American vehicle electronics sales manager.

TROY, MI — Delphi Corp. has named three new sales managers for North America. Jim Eady, Darrel Reuss and Steve Tucker will serve as regional sales managers for vehicle electronics in North America for Delphi Product & Service Solutions. Eady will cover the Southeast, Reuss the Midwest and Tucker the Northeast and all will report to Scott Donnelly, North American vehicle electronics sales manager.

Eady joins Delphi after serving as president of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) since 1999. Eady began his career in 1977 as an assistant buyer and area sales manager for McRae’s Department Stores. In 1980 he began working for TRW Automotive’s aftermarket division and held multiple positions for the next 13 years, including district sales representative, area sales manager, marketing services manager and regional sales manager. During his time at TRW, Eady directed the activities of a 15-district sales force and was responsible for annual sales as well as budget forecasting for his region. In 1993, he began working for Federal-Mogul, where he held the positions of regional sales manager as well as Federated Group sales manager.

Reuss joins Delphi after being Midwest regional sales manager for Dynamic Control of North America, a consumer electronics company, where he worked since 2001. His responsibilities previously included National Accounts, Regional Chains, adding new direct retail outlets as well as distribution where necessary. Reuss began his career in 1984 at Allied-Signal Corp. as a territory sales representative. In 1991 he joined TRW Automotive as a territory sales manager. In 1995, he went to Federal-Mogul as district sales manager. In 1995, Reuss also became vice president of sales and marketing for Oil Filter Recyclers of Illinois. In this position he was responsible for all sales activities and customer relations.

Tucker began his career at Midnite Auto Parts/Autoworld in Kansas City, Mo., in 1977 as a store manager. In 1982 he moved to Ozark Kenworth and held management positions in inventory control and used truck sales. Tucker then moved to Toledo, Ohio, in 1985 and began working for Dana. He held multiple positions for the next five years including territory manager for NAPA Memphis, machine shop consultant and marketing manager for engine products. During his time at Dana, Tucker was named “Manufacturer Rep of the Year.” In 1990, Tucker joined Federal-Mogul Corp. and served as regional sales manager for 10 years during which time he led the automotive aftermarket division in sales for three consecutive years. In 2000, Tucker moved to Nashville, Tenn., as regional sales manager for Mid-State Automotive Distribution where he acquired new accounts worth approximately $3 million annually and increased gross profit over three percentage points in one year. In 2002, he joined Arvin Meritor as the Western division sales manager where he brought on an excess of $4.5 million in annual sales.
