Pilot Travel Centers to Sell Goodyear Truck Tires

Goodyear Tire & Rubber is the second tiremaker this week to announce a new supply agreement with Pilot Travel Centers LLC, one of the largest truck stop networks in North America. Pilot Travel Centers will stock and sell Goodyear truck tires at its travel centers.

AKRON, OH — Goodyear Tire & Rubber is the second tiremaker this week to announce a new supply agreement with Pilot Travel Centers LLC, one of the largest truck stop networks in North America. Pilot Travel Centers will stock and sell Goodyear truck tires at its travel centers.

“Being selected by Pilot Travel Centers as another venue for our products is a great plus for Goodyear, and for the truck drivers who seek a Goodyear tire when they are out on the road,” said Steve McClellan, Goodyear’s vice president of commercial tire systems.

“This is another piece of the puzzle for fleets looking for Goodyear tires, especially in an emergency situation. In addition to the extensive Goodyear commercial dealer network, in the future, a truck driver will have the option to pull into a Pilot outlet and find a replacement Goodyear truck tire,” McClellan said.

Pilot Travel Centers operate 260 travel centers in 38 states. Goodyear will supply a variety of truck tires for Pilot’s store network, including the G395 LHS steer tire.
