BFGoodrich to Sponsor NDRA Series

The NOPI Drag Racing Association (NDRA) announced that BFGoodrich Tires has signed on as the title sponsor of the BFGoodrich Tires Pro Street Class of the 2004 NOPI Racing Series Xbox Cup Championship, marking the third consecutive season BFGoodrich has sponsored the NDRA series.

ATLANTA — The NOPI Drag Racing Association (NDRA) announced that BFGoodrich Tires has signed on as the title sponsor of the BFGoodrich Tires Pro Street Class of the 2004 NOPI Racing Series Xbox Cup Championship, marking the third consecutive season BFGoodrich has sponsored the NDRA series.

In addition to the renewal of its class sponsorship, BFGoodrich will serve as the official title sponsor of the BFGoodrich NOPI Race Wars at Moroso Motorsport Park race (Jupiter, Fla.), the presenting sponsor of the NOPI Race Wars at Bristol Dragway (Bristol,Tenn.), as well as the official tire sponsor of the NOPI NATIONALS Supershow in Atlanta.

“BFGoodrich has been a part of the NDRA since its inception in 2002,” said Michael Meyers, NDRA president. “Their continued support is critical to the growth and popularity of sport compact racing and specifically, the NDRA.”

“The NDRA is one of the premier sport compact drag racing series in the world,” said Todd Steen, motorsports marketing manager for BFGoodrich Tires. “We are pleased to extend our agreement and once again sponsor the BFGoodrich Tires Pro Street Class.”

Competitors in the BFGoodrich Tires Pro Street Class compete on the Comp T/A Drag Radial.

The 2004 NOPI Racing Series Xbox Cup Championship will kick-off April 24 and 25 at the Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, Va. The series will travel the country for 11 races, culminating with the World Finals of the NOPI Racing Series Xbox Cup Championship on October 16 and 17 in Ennis, Texas.
