TROY, MI — Bill Overmyer, national accounts sales manager for ArvinMeritor’s Light Vehicle Aftermarket (LVA) group, has earned Advance Auto Parts’ Advance Factory Direct Representative Award.

The award recognizes the achievements of a veteran sales professional who best supports Advance Auto Parts’ marketing, training, customer service and merchandising initiatives. Overmyer was presented with the award at the auto parts chain’s recent annual Leadership Conference.

“With valuable experience and complete commitment, Bill and his entire support team have helped Advance’s effort through category management, marketing initiatives, training initiatives and overall customer service/support,” said Rob Malone, vice president and general manager, Filters, Ride Control and Lift Supports, North America, for ArvinMeritor’s Aftermarket.

Overmyer is a 17 year veteran of the aftermarket and has spent the past four years with ArvinMeritor’s aftermarket business. He serves Advance Auto Parts through account management, promotional planning, category management and operational integration.

“Our entire team has brought this award to our company,” said Overmyer. “This award is for all of us, from those who manufacture and ship the product to my team members who help me service key clients like Advance.”
