Mark Armstrong to Retire From Cooper Tire & Rubber

Cooper Tire & Rubber Vice President Mark Armstrong has announced his retirement after 26 years with the company. Armstrong started out as a territory manager for Cooper in the Eastern Region. He subsequently served in numerous positions in sales and marketing until his most recent promotion to executive vice president of the Tire Group, responsible for sales and marketing for global tire operations.

FINDLAY, OH — Cooper Tire & Rubber Vice President Mark Armstrong has announced his retirement after 26 years with the company.

Armstrong started out as a territory manager for Cooper in the Eastern Region. He subsequently served in numerous positions in sales and marketing until his most recent promotion to executive vice president of the Tire Group, responsible for sales and marketing for global tire operations.

Tom Dattilo, Cooper Tire’s chairman, president and CEO, recognized Armstrong for his leadership.

“Mark’s contributions to Cooper Tire have been crucial in the development and implementation of our Cooper 21 strategy and providing direction for the tire group,” said Dattilo. “Mark’s leadership in sales and marketing has helped Cooper grow marketshare, successfully enter the ultra high performance market and continue our envied position as an industry leader in customer service and dealer relationships.”

Armstrong’s retirement will take effect at the end of May.
