IPD Products Reorganizes Company to Focus on Caterpillar Engines

IPD Products has undergone a reorganization to focus more on its products for Caterpillar Engines. As part of the reorganization, the company has unveiled a new IPD slogan: “The Standard for Quality, Innovation, Service and Support Since 1955."

TORRANCE, CA — IPD Products has undergone a reorganization to focus more on its products for Caterpillar Engines. As part of the reorganization, the company has unveiled a new IPD slogan: “The Standard for Quality, Innovation, Service and Support Since 1955.”

In addition to focusing on the distribution of products for Caterpillar Engines, the company is taking a more active role in product development, in an effort to help its distributors gain greater market share, the company said. IPD owns six distribution centers worldwide.

PHINIA Inc. reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024.

First Quarter Highlights:

U.S. GAAP net sales of $863 million, an increase of 3.4% compared with Q1 2023.

Excluding $17 million of contract manufacturing sales, sales were up slightly compared to Q1 2023. Favorable pricing and currency were partially offset by lower commercial vehicle sales in Europe.
