DENSO International America, the North American headquarters of DENSO Corp., has awarded 24 students in Oakland County, Mich., a total of $30,000 in academic scholarships through the DENSO Oakland Schools Education Foundation (DOSEF). SOUTHFIELD, MI — DENSO International America, the North American headquarters of DENSO Corp., has awarded 24 students in Oakland County, Mich., a total of $30,000 in academic scholarships through the DENSO Oakland Schools Education Foundation (DOSEF).

DENSO awarded 12 -$1,500 academic scholarships to Oakland County students pursuing careers in vehicle design, engineering, finance, medicine, journalism, science and other industries.

Students were judged on a variety of areas, including academic achievement, personal goals and need. The scholarship program is designed to help students achieve their career goals as they have been identified and supported through Oakland Schools’ Career Focused Education (CFE) program.
