ELGIN, Ind. — SKF/Chicago Rawhide recently announced its commitment to increase its sponsorship to the “Gold” level to support the 2004 activities of the Car Care Council’s Women’s Board. This follows SKF/CR’s participation as a Diamond Sponsor of the Women’s Board reception last November in Las Vegas.

“Women continue to be one of the most important consumer groups in the automotive industry, and we applaud the efforts of the Women’s Board,” said Katie Noga, manager of marketing communications and motorsports for SKF/CR Americas, and a founding member of the Women’s Car Care Board. “We’re extremely honored to support the achievements of the Women’s Board, and we hope to continue to develop our relationship in the future.”

Along with its sponsorship commitments to the Women’s Board, SKF/CR continues its support of the Be Car Care Aware initiative for the Car Care Council with its marketing initiatives and sponsorship of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver Jeff Burton. Currently, SKF/CR displays the Be Car Care Aware and Right to Repair logos on all marketing materials, and distributes Be Car Care Aware-themed flyers at NASCAR events.
