AMAGI, Japan — Fire broke out at Fukuoka Prefecture, Bridgestone Corp.’s tire plant in Amagi, Japan, according to local firefighters.
Thirteen people were injured in the fire, and production was halted about an hour later. This is reported to be the second plant fire in less than a year for the tiremaker.
