BATTLE CREEK, MI — DENSO Manufacturing Michigan, Inc., a producer of advanced automotive heating and cooling components has partnered with CHD Meridian Healthcare (I-trax), to open an on-site pharmacy to serve DENSO’s more than 2500 associates and their dependents at its Battle Creek, MI, location.
Located on the DENSO Manufacturing campus, the pharmacy will be operated, managed and staffed by CHD Meridian Healthcare. It will be staffed with a full-time pharmacist as well as a certified pharmacy technician and will offer over-the-counter pharmacy services, counseling, patient-to-doctor compliance programs, quality assurance, as well as numerous other benefits for DENSO associates.
“We are extremely focused on being the employer of choice in our markets and our new, on-site pharmacy fits in well with our company philosophy,” said Karen Cooper-Boyer, general manager of associate, corporate and community resources. “The three primary goals of our on-site pharmacy are to lower the company’s rising healthcare costs, pass some savings on to our associates, and provide our associates with the convenience of handling their pharmaceutical needs during their work day.”
