Undercar Express Appoints Tom Elmer Director of Sales and Marketing

Undercar Express, a leading remanufacturer of automotive disc brake calipers headquartered in Cleveland, OH, has appointed Tom Elmer director of sales and marketing. In this new role, Elmer, a 23-year veteran of the automotive aftermarket industry, will be responsible for sales, marketing, customer relations, program development and pricing.

CLEVELAND, OH — Undercar Express, a leading remanufacturer of automotive disc brake calipers headquartered in Cleveland, OH, has appointed Tom Elmer director of sales and marketing. In this new role, Elmer, a 23-year veteran of the automotive aftermarket industry, will be responsible for sales, marketing, customer relations, program development and pricing.

Prior to joining Undercar Express, Elmer held many successively challenging sales and marketing roles at such leading aftermarket companies as CARDONE Industries, Perfection Clutch, Dorman/Motormite and Transtar Industries. Elmer has many noteworthy accomplishments in the industry as well, serving on various industry committees throughout his career, receiving his Automotive Parts Professional certification and speaking at the 2001 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium. He is a graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia, and West Chester University where he received his M.B.A. in Marketing: Technology and E-Commerce. Elmer resides in the Cleveland area and will work from the home office of UCX in Cleveland.

Undercar Express remanufactures disc brake calipers for the automotive, truck and high performance markets. In 2002, the Weatherhead School of Business at Case Western Reserve recognized the company as the fastest growing company in Northeast Ohio. The company has a 64,000 sq. ft. ISO-certified manufacturing facility in Cleveland and supplies premium quality loaded, semi-loaded and unloaded calipers to the automotive aftermarket in the United States and Canada.
