ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Information systems and quality management services firm MQVP has added five new employees to better serve its program participants.
“With each addition to the staff, we have added unparalleled experience and ability,” said MQVP Inc. CEO/President, William Hindelang. “With these key additions, we are ensuring that our on-going quality management validation will continue to run smoothly and consistently.”
Kirk Hansen (Director of New Business Development) will be responsible for expanding MQVP usage by the insurance industry. With a 25-year history of service to the insurance industry, Hansen comes to the company after serving 6 years as the director of claims with the Alliance of American Insurers, a national trade association representing 340 property/casualty insurance companies. In that capacity, he served as an insurance industry spokesman and expert on a variety of claims issues, including aftermarket parts.
Maryann Kostiuk (Paralegal/Sales Support) will assist the director of insurer client services as well as provides support to the sales department. Kostiuk supports the general counsel in her role as paralegal. She has more than 20 years of experience in sales/office administration including 2 years of legal experience. Prior to joining MQVP, she worked at the Office of the Attorney General in Detroit and for a law firm in St. Clair Shores, MI.
Ronald E. McNulty (General Counsel) will be responsible for all corporate legal issues ranging from litigation strategy and risk analysis to contract review. Furthermore, he is involved in the sales and business development activities related to building and serving the company’s client base. McNulty joins MQVP after more than 20 years experience in litigation, risk management, strategic planning and transaction contract law.
Maria Stoletova’s (Quality Engineer) responsibilities include the coordination of activities, consulting and education of Vehicle Test Fit Centers on the ISO 17025 standard that establishes competence requirements for testing facilities. She evaluates and formulates policies and procedures for quality assurance of aftermarket automotive parts used in the collision repair industry. She also develops training materials and conducts training on quality assurance concepts and tools.
Stoletova joined MQVP after teaching courses in metrology, quality management, and applied engineering statistics at both Russian and U.S. universities. She worked on research projects in the fields of metrology for quality control tests and international product quality standards. Stoletova is a “Six Sigma Green Belt” and an ASQ Certified Quality Manager and Certified Quality Engineer. She is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Chuan Yi Yap (Product Engineering Analyst ) will be responsible for manufacturer customer relationships and MQVP’s software support. She provides GOCERTS data setup and supports new product release. In addition, she reviews engineering documentation and validation of AMPAP and VTF content requirements. Yap holds a B.S. in chemical engineering and a M.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of Michigan. Before joining the company, she worked as a research assistant in a chemical company. She is proficient in English and Mandarin.
