PPG Announces Two Executive Appointments

PPG recently announced two new executive appointments within its Automotive Refinish business. Bill Shaw has been named director, global color marketing and innovation for the division. John Parran has been appointed sales director, Zone 2 for PPG Automotive Refinish.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — PPG recently announced two new executive appointments within its Automotive Refinish business.

Bill Shaw has been named director, global color marketing and innovation for the division. In this newly created role, Shaw will be responsible for leading future global color strategies and innovations. He will focus on PPG’s continued commitment to deliver color performance for all PPG refinish customers in all regions of the world.

Shaw joined PPG through the ICI Autocolor acquisition in 1999. During his career, he has held various positions of responsibility including sales management, business development director, brand director and product director including his last assignment as director, refinish marketing, where he was responsible for color, training, customer service and product markets for North America.

Shaw will remain in the Cleveland area and continue to maintain an office at the PPG Automotive Refinish headquarters in Strongsville, OH.

John Parran has been appointed sales director, Zone 2 for PPG Automotive Refinish. In his new role, Parran will be responsible for driving refinish sales within the western region of the U.S.

Parran has been with PPG for 22 years and has held various sales leadership positions within PPG, including his latest assignment as director, corporate sales development. He will be relocating to the Phoenix area.
