R. L. Polk & Co. Hires Scott Huston to Initiate Aftermarket Consultancy

Scott Huston has been named solutions consultant for the aftermarket team at R. L. Polk & Co. In this position, Huston will be responsible for the development and implementation of Polk’s Aftermarket Consultancy Services. The announcement was made by Mike Gingell, vice president of Polk’s Strategic Markets group.

SOUTHFIELD, MI – Scott Huston has been named solutions consultant for the aftermarket team at R. L. Polk & Co. In this position, Huston will be responsible for the development and implementation of Polk’s Aftermarket Consultancy Services. The announcement was made by Mike Gingell, vice president of Polk’s Strategic Markets group.

Huston joins Polk from Denso Sales California, Inc. While at Denso, Huston held the position of marketing and E-business manager and was responsible for strategic planning, catalog management, E-business operations and other product line activities. Huston is also actively involved in various industry associations including the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA), the Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).

“I am very pleased that Scott will be joining our team. His automotive aftermarket experience and his knowledge of category management will be instrumental in launching our Consultancy operation in the Automotive Aftermarket,” said Gingell. “I am looking forward to working with Scott to bring offerings to the market that assist aftermarket organizations in addressing their category management issues.”

Huston earned a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic University and possesses significant industry knowledge in the areas of information systems and marketing.
