LENEXA, KS — HushMat, manufacturer of the HushMat Ultra sound damping material, recently announced the hiring of Steve Swanson for the position of national sales manager of its Automotive Division. Swanson will work with the company’s sales rep agencies, overseeing the sales and marketing of the HushMat line of products on the automotive aftermarket side of the business.

Before joining HushMat, Swanson was a partner with Considine Sales and Marketing. He served as vice president of sales for Foster Babcock and Associates, and was the national sales manager from 1990 to 1996 for Gorilla Automotive Products.

Swanson is a member of the SEMA Board of Directors, a member of the SEMA Manufacturers Rep Council Select Committee (MRC) and is a board liaison to the SEMA Wheel and Tire Council (WTC).
