Tom Rafferty Named Director of Program Group Distribution for Affinia

Affinia Group has named Tom Rafferty to the position of director of program group distribution, reporting to Bob Gracey, senior vice president of sales. In his new position, Rafferty will be responsible for all aspects of Affinia’s program group business, including retention, development and growth of existing group customers. He will also manage product and marketing programs and serve as liaison between group headquarters offices and Affinia.

ANN ARBOR, MI — Affinia Group has named Tom Rafferty to the position of director of program group distribution, reporting to Bob Gracey, senior vice president of sales.

In his new position, Rafferty will be responsible for all aspects of Affinia’s program group business, including retention, development and growth of existing group customers. He will also manage product and marketing programs and serve as liaison between group headquarters offices and Affinia.

“Tom has a rich history in the aftermarket with more than 25 years of experience,” Gracey said. “His career has included field sales, sales management, marketing and program distribution positions with industry leaders such as Walker Manufacturing, CARQUEST, Echlin and Exide. Tom knows the industry inside and out and will be an invaluable resource for our group customers.”

Rafferty is a graduate of Western Illinois University and earned his masters degree from Northern Illinois University, both in marketing. He and his wife Kathy reside in Naperville, IL, and have two daughters, Collene and Mary Kathleen.
