WHITE PLAINS, NY — Affinia Group has announced the availability of WHI’s Nexpart Virtual Inventory to its channel partners. (WHI was formerly known as Wrenchead.) Virtual Inventory will make stock at Affinia’s DC’s accessible through its channel partners’ Nexpart eCommerce websites, creating online availability of parts that are out-of-stock at the channel partner’s location.

"Virtual Inventory is a value-added service that we will provide to our channel partners to help make them the first and best choice for their customers," said Jerry McCabe, senior vice president, business architecture for Affinia. "Providing channel partners and their customers the ability to seamlessly integrate real time ordering from our DCs into their eCommerce solutions will allow them to capture sales that they’re missing today."

Bryan Murphy, WHI’s president and CEO said, "Affinia is a company that understands how to use technology to create competitive advantage. Making DC inventory available online to their channel partners and more than 59,000 Nexpart eCommerce users is another powerful reason to do business with Affinia. Integrating the supply chain between manufacturers, distributors and their customers is critical to the long term profitability for the aftermarket and Nexpart Virtual makes that integration a reality.”
