Rozint Named COO of Assured Performance Network

IRVINE, CA — Assured Performance, a consumer advocacy organization, and the largest network of independently-owned collision repair shops in the world, has named Jack Rozint to the position of chief operating officer (COO). As COO, Rozint will assume responsibility for key operations of the network business as well as industry strategic alliances.

Rozint is a longtime veteran of the collision industry, with more than 20 years of experience. Rozint has had direct experience with many key aspects of business operations that will assist Assured Performance with its growth. In the 1980’s, he directed product development for Akzo Nobel’s Collision Repair Management System (CRMS). Later, beginning in the 1990’s, Rozint filled many key positions in the growth of CCC, eventually becoming senior vice president. He later founded RepairCar.com, served as senior VP at Ensera, and was a global general manager for Robert Bosch. Over the years, Rozint has served on many industry committees, participated with various associations and organizations, attended the key industry functions, and spearheaded many leading initiatives. Recently, Rozint even operated a large independently owned collision repair business, growing revenue to an annual run rate of more than $6 million.

"I believe that the collision industry is at a critical point in its evolution with eroding profit margins compounded by attempts at severing the relationship between repairers and vehicle owners," said Rozint. "Assured Performance Network has the strategy and tools to allow shop owners to regain control of their businesses and ensure that consumers can choose a qualified repair business."

The long-term strategy of Assured Performance has been to reach critical mass with its size and geographic coverage of the U.S. so that consumers across the country can find a qualified collision repair business nearby. With more than 3,000 participating shops, the network now has marketing and purchasing power that includes billions of dollars in combined strength.

"I am thrilled to have Jack joining our management team," said Scott Biggs, founder and CEO. "He brings extensive management skills and industry experience, and most important, he shares our vision and commitment to independently owned shops and the consumer. He will play a critical role in our expanding efforts."
