Tom O’Brien Named VP of Automotive Sales for SKF Vehicle Service Market, North America

ELGIN, IL – SKF has appointed Tom O’Brien vice president of Automotive Sales of the SKF Vehicle Service Market (VSM), North America Business Unit, effective immediately. O’Brien will report to Mike McGrath, president of the VSM North America Business Unit.

O’Brien will oversee the sales management team for the automotive aftermarket in North America. Additionally, O’Brien will coordinate sales activities with various SKF manufacturer representative agencies across North America.

"We’re pleased to have Tom join our team at SKF, especially with his vast experience in the vehicle service industry,” said McGrath. “With his knowledge of the industry and proven leadership skills, Tom will continue to strengthen SKF’s sales management team across North America, continuing to provide accessible service and support to our customers.”

O’Brien brings more than 30 years of sales and management experience to SKF. Previous titles include managing sales director for Siskel Sales Co., senior vice president of sales and marketing for American Remanufacturing Inc. (ARI) and senior vice president of marketing for Dana Corp.’s, Brake and Chassis Division. He will work from SKF’s Elgin, IL office.
