Oshkosh Truck Corp. Names Gregory Fredericksen Senior VP and Chief Procurement Officer

OSHKOSH, WI — Oshkosh Truck Corp. has named Gregory (Greg) Fredericksen senior vice president and chief procurement officer.

In this role, Fredericksen will be responsible for procurement of all direct and indirect materials and capital equipment throughout the company; acquisition of all logistics services company-wide; developing and managing strategic supplier relationships; and supplier development and supplier quality programs. He will also be charged with implementing lean principles throughout the supply chain, and procurement support for new product development and acquisitions.

Fredericksen joins Oshkosh Truck after 22 years with General Motors, most recently responsible for GM’s sourcing of stampings and raw materials globally. He was integral to the development of GM’s supply chain strategy over the last 20 years. He has broad experience sourcing multiple commodities and components globally, working abroad, managing large global teams, as well as serving Saturn Corporation in materials management and supplier quality roles.

Fredericksen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.
