Freudenberg Group, a global technology conglomerate, commemorates its 175th anniversary today, reflecting on its journey from a small leather factory to a powerhouse with a significant presence in the automotive aftermarket and other industries. Founded in 1849, Carl Johann Freudenberg created the company using borrowed funds. Today, Freudenberg Group has 52,000 employees across nearly 60 countries and achieving sales nearing €12 billion ($14.4 billion). The company has a portfolio spanning approximately 40 market segments.

Innovation has been a driving force behind Freudenberg’s success story as the company continues to innovate in supplying critical components for fuel cells and electrolysis units, essential for the production of green hydrogen, the company said.
