DMA Product Development Team Continues to Grow

The company has hired David Sapp, previously an Auto Plus Auto Parts account manager, as its new assistant product manager.

DMA Industries has appointed David Sapp as its new assistant product manager. The company said Sapp brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as an account manager at Auto Plus Auto Parts and as a broker account manager at Capital Waste Services.

At Auto Plus Auto Parts, he achieved 15% year-over-year sales growth in the Chattanooga area. Similarly, at Capital Waste Services, he increased national brokerage accounts by 26% year-over-year and boosted local sales in the Chattanooga/North Georgia markets by 18% year-over-year, DMA said.

Additionally, Sapp’s leadership as the sales and marketing director at Ken Smith Auto Parts Inc. led to the development of the Online Sales program, resulting in a revenue increase from $600,000 in 2012 to over $2.7 million in 2018.

Sapp holds an A.S. in Automotive Technology Management Services from the College of Central Florida in Ocala, and a bachelor’s degree in theology from CIMN in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
