Gold Eagle’s Blackman Joins AACF Board of Trustees

Blackman has been actively involved in volunteerism for many years, and most recently served as chairman of MEMA.

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF), a 501c3 supporting people in the automotive aftermarket industry and their families during the hardest moments of their lives, announced the election of Marc Blackman, CEO of Gold Eagle Company to its board of trustees. Gold Eagle Company is the manufacturer of 303 Protectant, Sta-Bil Fuel Stabilizer, HEET, and other automotive, marine, and RV protection products.

“We’re thrilled to have Marc join AACF’s Board of Trustees,” said Joel Ayres, executive director of AACF. “His commitment to the industry and to volunteerism should be applauded and we’re confident he’ll be a strong addition to our volunteer board who works diligently to support the automotive aftermarket industry.”

Blackman has been actively involved in volunteerism for many years, according to the AACF. He recently served as the chairman of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and received MEMA’s Aftermarket Suppliers Member Advocacy Award for 2023. He also serves on the University of the Aftermarket Foundation Board as a lifetime trustee.

Previously, Blackman served as chairman of the board of governors of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). He also has held leadership roles in various industry associations, including chairman of the category management committee for the Auto Care Association and positions at the Automotive Specialty Products Alliance (ASPA) and the Automotive Sales Council. Blackman is the founder of the Global Automotive Network of YPO, a global leadership organization for chief executives.
