MANN+HUMMEL’s Canadian Sales Org. Announces Leadership Transition

MANN+HUMMEL Taps Verriet to Lead Canadian Sales

Patrick Verriet (pictured) will replace retired Steve Ellis as business development manager.

MANN+HUMMEL announced a leadership change within the company’s Canadian sales force of its Automotive Aftermarket Americas group, prompted by the retirement of Business Development Manager Steve Ellis.

Ellis retired from MANN+HUMMEL as of December 31, 2023, most recently serving as business development manager, FTCA (Canada). “We are sad to see Steve retire, as he has led our Canadian sales team for nearly 10 years with dedication, compassion, and respect,” said Mike Harvey, director of sales – traditional channels. “On behalf of our MANN+HUMMEL team, we thank Steve for his contributions and wish him only the best in his adventures ahead.”

Patrick Verriet will replace Ellis as Business Development Manager, and is based out of the Niagara region of Ontario. The child of an aftermarket family, Verriet’s father worked for WIX Filters for 34 years. Patrick went on to earn his Automotive Aftermarket Professional Designation (AAP) in March 2022 and is a graduate of the Leadership 2.0 program, both through Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, according to MANN + HUMMEL.

“Patrick has shown incredible drive and passion for this industry since he joined our team in 2016 as a District Sales Manager,” continued Harvey. “Over the past seven years with us, Patrick has proved his ability to drive growth, deliver strong customer service and help shape strategic initiatives. We are very excited for Patrick’s future with us, and for the meaningful relationships he will continue to build and pursue within the Automotive Aftermarket.”

Verriet serves as a board member with the Automotive Materials Stewardship of Ontario and is the current chairperson of the Young Professionals in the Aftermarket Committee under the Automotive Industries Association of Canada. He is also a current member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association.
