Multi Parts Names VP of Business and Product Development

Scott Robertson will have direct responsibility for sales, product engineering, product management, and product innovation.

Scott Robertson, a 25-year veteran in the automotive and heavy-duty industries, has joined Multi Parts (MPS) as vice president – business and product development.

Robertson began his career in the automotive industry in 1998, while attending the University of Pittsburgh, with a co-op assignment at Toyota Motor Manufacturing. Upon graduation, Roberston spent 5 years in the electronics division at Visteon, a large tier-one automotive manufacturer. In 2006, he transitioned to the Heavy-Duty market, holding multiple leadership positions at Grote Industries where he defined new product strategies that resulted in significant sales growth across North America and Europe. Most recently, Roberston spent 12 years with Motor Coach Industries and the NFI Group holding various senior sales, marketing, and operations positions within the Aftermarket Parts and Service Business.

In his new role at Multi Parts, Robertson will have direct responsibility for sales, product engineering, product management, and product innovation and will report directly to Brian Cohn, CEO of MPS.

“We are proud to add someone of Roberston’s background and caliber to our executive team here at MPS,” said Cohn.  “Organizing key commercial functions under one leader will increase our ability to engineer complete solutions for the customers that we serve. Scott will play a critical role in the strategic growth of MPS within our core automotive market and in adjacent ones.”

“I’m excited to get back to my automotive roots, and to bring my experience in the Heavy-Duty, Transit, and Construction aftermarket to MPS,” said Robertson.  “MPS has a reputation for providing high quality turnkey solutions in the aftermarket supply chain, and I’m excited to work with Brian, the executive team, and our partners at Radial Equity Partners to take Multi Parts to the next level.”
