DMA Industries plans to invest $1.47 million in enhancing its facility in Tabor City, North Carolina. This investment is expected to create 21 new jobs, DMA said. The company said that enhancements to its Tabor City distribution center will include new flooring and implementing a modern warehouse management system.
John Treece, president and CEO, expressed appreciation for the community’s support and affirmed the company’s commitment to Tabor City. Chief Operating Officer Fred Snow pointed out the expansion’s importance in supporting an additional $40 million in customer sales over the coming years.
To aid in this expansion, DMA Industries will receive a $70,000 performance-based grant from the One North Carolina Fund. The grant is contingent on the company meeting specific job creation and capital investment goals.
