In this pivotal role, Muharemovic will lead the advancement of innovative autonomous driving technologies, a key area in shaping the future of mobility and transportation, according to Continental.

Muharemovic, with an extensive background in vehicle safety and dynamics, will lead the growth of the company’s technology innovations in assisted and autonomous driving in the market, including research and development, supplier solutions, and advancing strategic partnerships, Continental added.

“We are proud to name Ibro as head of Autonomous Mobility in North America,” said Aruna Anand, president and CEO, Continental Automotive, North America. “As technology is changing and we enter a new era of mobility, it is critical to have the right leaders at the forefront.
