MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Announces D.C. Right to Repair Fly-in

The goal of the fly-in is to convince the House Committee to “mark up” The REPAIR Act at their first available opportunity in early February.

With significant progress made on The REPAIR Act in 2023, MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announced that it is hosting a Right to Repair Fly-in in Washington D.C. from Jan. 30-31. More information about the fly-in can be found here.

The association said The REPAIR Act is being considered in a House committee and is inching closer to Senate bill introduction. The goal of the fly-in is to convince the House Committee to “mark up” (pass to the full House) The REPAIR Act at their first available opportunity in early February.

The fly-in will focus on Capitol Hill meetings with both House members and Senators and their staff members. It will include an issue briefing and a meeting strategy training to prepare attendees for visits, the organization said.

MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers is welcoming company leaders, senior executives and technical experts from MEMA Aftermarket Supplier member companies to attend. MEMA Aftermarket will provide attendees with their own individual schedule based on their company’s facility footprint as well as meeting materials, talking points, what to expect in a Hill meeting and other pertinent information.
