MiX to Host Brewing Brilliance Webinar with Industry GOATS

The webinar in support of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and its Coffee Club will be Sept. 29 at 11 a.m.

The MEMA Modern Industry eXpertise (MiX) will host a “Brewing Brilliance” webinar featuring GOATS (greatest of all time) of the aftermarket: Bill Long, president and CEO, MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association; Larry Pavey, CEO of the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group); and John Washbish, president and CEO, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc.

Held in support of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and its Coffee Club campaign, the free online event will take place on National Coffee Day, Sept. 29 at 11:00 a.m. ET. The webinar will be a roundtable discussion where the participants will delve into insightful inquiries touching on formative influences, career pathways, innovation and much more.

“One of the primary objectives of the MiX council is to give younger aftermarket employees a voice about future aftermarket challenges while also providing development opportunities,” said Ryan Devine, AAP, MiX chairman. “Our upcoming Brewing Brilliance webinar will give the entire industry the opportunity to hear how aftermarket legends navigated their careers and what they feel will be critical moving into the future.”

“We want to thank MiX for hosting this one-of-kind webinar as a way to promote the UAF Coffee Club and to give the aftermarket the chance to hear from three great leaders,” said Todd Hack, MAAP, chairman, UAF Coffee Club work group. “This is a terrific opportunity to gain incredible insight and knowledge, and also ‘pour it forward’ to support the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and its educational mission.”
